It was the twenty third century. Caprius Seaton was prince of Elysium. Strong and courageous, he had a deformity as his face was scarred heavily by locusts that had bitten him severely some time ago. On a cool autumn evening, within the Triplonian Simulation tower, prince Caprius Seaton walked down a hallway to the center of the lobby where a female assistant sat at a large brimstone tabletop fastened to a dark desk. She sat quietly monitoring her computer. Caprius approached the beautiful Asian woman as she smiled. “Good evening Mr. Caprius Seton. Will you be using your usual simulation chamber?”

            “Yes, thank-you Min,” he replied. She handed him a toggle stick.

            She pushed a button on her keyboard and typed out the necessary documentation. Then she hit the final two keys. “You have of course thirty minutes to use the chamber. The assistant will perform the simulation. I have already informed him of your arrival. He’s using an older algorithm as we are having a slight problem. But there’s no need to worry. Happy travels Mr. Seaton.”

            “Thank-you Min.”

            Caprius headed toward the elevators on the left side. There were four elevators; two on either side. As Caprius headed to the elevator, a man in a long dark grey stylish trench coat sat on the bench reading a magazine. Caprius looked at his face momentarily and pushed the button. The elevator door opened and walked in. The doors closed.

            The Triplonian Simulation tower was a place where people went to contact the deceased in the spirit world; a place where one could communicate with the dead.

Caprius arrived at chamber 27A; on the twenty seventh floor. He put in his toggle stick into a slot and then he pushed a button on the side wall and the door opened; a few seconds later the door closed. He walked over to the assistant. “Good evening Mr. Seaton. My name is Harry. I will be conducting your simulation today.”

            “Where is Simon; my usual man?” asked Caprius.

            “I’m afraid Simon is rather ill. He needed some time off. But I’m sure he’ll be back in a few days.”

            “Very well. Lets get started. I need to contact my mother,” said Caprius.

            “Yes of course. If you would be as kind to write your mothers full name here; including her maiden name, and date of birth.” Caprius wrote her name down and handed the piece of paper to the man. “Please have a seat.”

            Caprius sat on the white comfortable leather chair within the circular tube. As he sat down, the man fastened Caprius’ wrists with leather straps. This would keep his hands and arms from moving. He sat back quietly and closed his eyes. “Enjoy your travels Mr. Seaton.”
A man was in the closet lying down. His hands and feet were tied. The assistant closed the tube door. He went over to the monitor. He pushed a red button, which sucked in the tube door. It was a suction. Then he pushed another two buttons and watched as the tubes oxygen was being sucked out. The man now walked closer to Caprius and smiled. A minute later, Caprius opened his eyes wide to be short of breath. He began to struggle to free himself.
